A weekly digest of the biggest moves, model releases, and power shifts shaping the future of AI.

Welcome to this week’s The AI Loop. The energy across the AI space just keeps building, with major funding moves, landmark deals and new agent launches shaping where the space is headed next. We’ve also got exciting Perlix AI news as we head to Base Breakpoint 2025. Let’s get started.

Perlix AI Update

Base Breakpoint is around the corner and we will be front and centre of it all. Ahmed, our CEO and founder will be speaking live, giving a closer look at how we’re moving expert AI annotation onchain and offering a preview of something big coming next. If you don’t want to miss it, follow along on our socials for timing and event updates.

On top of that, our first cohort of Perlix Ambassadors has officially been selected and onboarding has begun. This group brings together an incredible mix of creators and community leaders from around the world who will help represent Perlix AI in new conversations globally.

Selected applicants will be notified directly, and we’re so excited to welcome them into the program!

Nvidia’s $2B Synopsys Bet Signals a New Age of “Physical AI”

Nvidia is deepening its push into AI-era chip design with a $2 billion investment in Synopsys. The partnership brings CUDA-X, AI physics and Omniverse digital twins into Synopsys’ engineering stack, accelerating how hardware is designed, tested and simulated. Nvidia frames this as the crossover point where traditional semiconductor workflows meet fully AI-accelerated development.

Jensen Huang calls it the rise of “physical AI,” a model where chips and systems are built in simulation first and optimized before they ever reach a factory floor. The move places Nvidia not just at the core of AI inference and training, but at the core of how next-generation physical products get engineered in the first place.

Anthropic Signs $200M Deal to Power Snowflake Intelligence

Anthropic is locking in another major enterprise win with a $200 million multi-year deal to embed Claude across Snowflake’s AI stack. The partnership brings Claude Opus 4.5 and Sonnet 4.5 directly into Snowflake Intelligence, giving thousands of enterprise customers access to multimodal analysis, custom agents and AI that sits on top of their most sensitive business data.

Claude will now power everything from data querying to model deployment inside Snowflake, and the two companies are positioning this as a deeper go-to-market push, not just an integration. The pitch is clear: AI that understands context, lives inside your data layer and can operate like a true agent, not just a chat interface.

AWS Debuts Kiro, the Coding Agent That Works on Its Own

AWS is pushing deeper into AI-assisted engineering with Kiro, a coding agent designed to work on its own once assigned a task. Instead of recommending snippets or waiting for prompts, Kiro continues coding, reviewing and implementing changes over multiple days without needing constant supervision.

The agent learns a team’s codebase, versioning habits and deployment standards, then follows those patterns to handle backlog items and multi-step development work. AWS is positioning Kiro as part of a longer shift toward AI systems that can manage sustained engineering tasks while humans focus on broader technical decisions.
